Whether you call it furniture restoration, conservation or simply repair, each piece we handle is treated with care and respect to achieve the finest results. Though no two jobs are ever quite the same we advocate a sympathetic approach, with no over restoration. Traditional skills and materials are used appropriate to the article in question.

We provide all aspects of restoration: structural repairs; carving; turning; fret work; veneer repairs;  inlay, marquetry, parquetry and Tunbridge ware.

We offer seat weaving for hand woven cane seats; rush seats using locally harvested rushes; ready woven loom cane panels and cane seat renovation; upholstery and a selection of upholstery fabrics.

Traditional polishing (wax, oil and french polishing); desk leather replacement which we hand colour; fit and tool ourselves; glazing repairs; metal repairs and patination; replacement handles locks and keys.
